Daria Bardash is a young, yet exceptionally promising Ukrainian soprano, known for her dramatic coloratura voice, which stands out for its unique flexibility, brilliant brightness, and emotional depth. Born on January 24, 1994, in Kyiv, Ukraine, to a family of circus artists, Daria was surrounded by art from an early age and later dedicated her life to operatic singing. Her combination of technical mastery and artistic charisma makes her one of the most promising artists of her generation.
As a soloist and founder of the chamber orchestra “Solo Semble” in Berlin since 2022, Daria is actively working on the development of chamber music, captivating audiences with her performances on prestigious stages, including the Berlin Philharmonie, where she performed the roles of Gabriel and Eve in “The Creation” by Joseph Haydn under the direction of Thomas Hennig. Notable performances also include her portrayal of Gerda in excerpts from Giordano Bruno da Nascimento’s “The Last Snow” and Primadonna in the production “Theatre Behind the Sculptures” in Kyiv.
Daria’s repertoire spans both Ukrainian opera classics, such as the role of Oksana in “Zaporozhets za Dunayem” by Hulak-Artemovsky and Natalka in “Natalka Poltavka” by Lysenko, as well as significant roles in the Western European operatic tradition. Among these are the Queen of the Night in “The Magic Flute” and Konstanze in “The Abduction from the Seraglio” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gilda in “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi. Her voice, described as “a vocal instrument of rare brilliance and precision,” combines technical perfection with expressive qualities that deeply move the listener.

Daria holds a Master’s degree in opera singing from the National University of M. P. Drahomanov in Kyiv, where she studied under Professor Elvira Kolosova, a soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. She earned her Bachelor’s degree under Professor Svitlana Kysla, a soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine.
